A People OS for recruiting, onboarding, and scheduling.
HR and people operations typically fragment across an ATS, an onboarding tool, a scheduling platform, a time-off tracker, and an HRIS. Each holds different data about the same person. A People OS brings recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, and records management into one system that knows your whole team.
The Fragmented HR Stack
One employee, five systems.
A typical mid-size business people stack: an ATS (Greenhouse, Lever, Workable) at $5,000–$15,000/year, an onboarding tool, a scheduling platform, a time-off tracker, and an HRIS for records. Each requires a separate login, separate data entry, and separate reporting. A new hire goes through your ATS, then your onboarding tool, then gets added to the scheduling system, then added to the HRIS — four data entry steps for one person.
The fragmentation creates real operational problems: onboarding steps fall through the cracks because there's no single checklist across all systems, scheduling decisions are made without visibility into PTO already approved in the time-off tool, and headcount reporting requires exporting from multiple systems and reconciling manually.
A People OS tracks every person from candidate to current employee in one record — recruiting stage, offer, onboarding completion, scheduling, time off, and employment history all visible in one place.

Core Modules
Every people operation, integrated.
Employee Self-Service
Employees manage their own information.
We build a self-service employee portal that reduces HR administrative load. Employees view their schedule, request time off, complete onboarding tasks, access company documents, and update their own contact information — without HR processing every request manually.
Manager-facing views give people managers the information they need: their team's schedule, pending PTO requests, onboarding completion status for new hires, and upcoming review cycles — without needing HR to generate reports on demand.
Hosting & Cost
Fixed cost as you hire.
People OS hosting runs at $100/month as part of a Business OS platform. As a standalone application, it runs at $50/month. There are no per-employee seat fees — a team of 25 and a team of 100 pay the same hosting cost.
Employee data is stored in your database. Employment records, compensation history, and personnel documents are yours — not in a vendor's HRIS with limited export capability. The source code is delivered to your repository at handoff.
FAQ
Common questions about the People OS.
Can a People OS integrate with LinkedIn or job boards for recruiting?+
Yes. We build job board posting integrations (LinkedIn, Indeed, and others with APIs), inbound application intake, and resume parsing into the recruiting module. Candidates come in through your careers page or imported from job boards and enter the recruiting pipeline automatically.
What does employee onboarding look like in a custom system?+
Onboarding is a structured checklist workflow — tasks assigned to HR, the hiring manager, IT, and the new employee themselves, with completion tracking and automated reminders. Custom steps by role, department, or employment type. New hire paperwork (offer letters, NDAs, policy acknowledgments) generated and collected electronically within the same system.
Can employees use self-service features — viewing their schedule, requesting time off?+
Yes. We build a self-service employee portal — accessible via browser or mobile — where employees can view their schedule, submit PTO requests, see their employment details, complete onboarding tasks, and access company documents. Manager approval workflows are integrated so requests route to the right person automatically.
Does the People OS connect to the Operations OS for resource planning?+
Yes. Employee records in the People OS feed into resource planning in the Operations OS — headcount by role, capacity by department, and availability based on PTO or scheduling. When you hire a new engineer, they appear in Operations' resource pool automatically. When they take PTO, it's reflected in their project capacity.
